Tech Updates via Ovi

When I want instant access to tech news, I find myself typing and hopping over to Yugatech for Philippine technology news and reviews. A fellow Atenean, Abe Olandres has been officially "Yuga" since 2005, albeit starting 5 years back.


So Yugatech it is. And his updates can be yes-no-meh but it's still new news, hence, the update :) But no doubt, his is one opinion across the web that Pinoy techies adhere to.

Ready for 2011?

If you're like me, planner-hunting starts the last few months of the year so appointments and plans can already be written down for January next year. If you've tried the planner from a popular coffeeplace, they've allotted spaces for December of the current year and January of the year following next, very convenient.

Sometimes, we find that the planner we want is not available, may be too expensive, not in the color we like, the paper is so so, or maybe, we're just in the lookout for something more after our own heart. The Kikay in Me

Each day breaks at 4:30, a morning in darkness. I hurry for breakfast and pack for lunch. Oops, it's 5:15! Have to dress for work NOW and make do with crackers and caffeine again. Sigh.

In my white overalls, I'm on the road at 6am. I have to be earlier than my preceptor. By 6:30, I've clocked in. Inside the complex at 6:45. At the dressing room is Peachy, my O.R. alter-ego.

By 7am my suite must be clean, with complete equipment and supplies, and ready. Darn, I'm missing my cautery machine. I have to dash and find one!

The GE X5 from General Electric is an affordable and capable point-and-shoot camera with manual controls. It has a range finder, is encased in a hard plastic body and looks like a mini DSLR with large extending lens. It has a built-in flip top flash. The focal length of the lens is from 27mm to 405mm (35mm equivalent) and extends to twice its width. It has an internal storage of 18mb but can use an SD of up to 16gb. This baby uses 4 x AA batteries and will dip your bank account by php10,995.
